Organic Seaweed Powder (Ascophyllum nodosum) - a brown seaweed commonly known as knotted, knobbed or bladder wrack, or kelp - is one of many species which form part of the botanical order or algae. APPEARANCE: Greenish brown powder with a strong pungent odor.

SEAWEED, KELP FACE MASK RECIPE: Combine 1 tbsp of seaweed powder to 2 tbsp of water and 1 tsp of vegetable glycerin to form a paste. Apply to the skin and leave on for about 10 minutes before washing off with warm water. Floral water or aloe vera gel juice can be substituted for water.
SEAWEED, KELP BODY WRAP RECIPE: Combine ½ cup seaweed powder, 3 tbsp jojoba oil and 2 drops of lavender oil in a bowl. Slowly add water while stirring the mixture until it forms into a paste. Apply paste to various parts of the body and cover with plastic wrap. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Floral water or aloe vera gel juice can be substituted for water.
